Writing Russian numbers

Write modern Russian standalone nominative cardinal numbers in Cyrillic. For example, 23 is двадцать три, 40 is сорок and 200 is двести. Zero is written ноль. The output uses the masculine standalone form for final units; it is not automatically the correct inflection before every noun or in every sentence.

Read three-digit groups from largest to smallest: тысяча (1000), миллион (1000000), миллиард (1000000000), триллион (1000000000000). Thousand coefficients are feminine: одна тысяча and две тысячи. Larger scale nouns are masculine: один миллион and два миллиона.

For each scale coefficient, endings 1, 2–4 and the other digits select different scale forms. The last two digits take priority for 11–14: 21000 is двадцать одна тысяча, but 11000 is одиннадцать тысяч. Empty positions add no zero word. Separate component words with spaces, without hyphens or an inserted и.

Enter whole numbers only, up to 15 digits. A comma can group three digits here but never denotes a decimal fraction. Every clean reference includes exact construction, a downloadable card and two-way practice in the displayed convention. Case declension, counted nouns, currency, ordinals and pronunciation are outside this converter.
